FrankfurtRheinMain offers a wide range of educational and childcare options – from bilingual nurseries to international schools. Here, children find a cosmopolitan and multilingual learning environment.
International Schools
The FrankfurtRheinMain (FRM) region is international – and this applies to its schools as well. There are around 20 international and bilingual schools in the region. Many are private schools and are oriented towards foreign cultures or use foreign school systems. Lessons are held in various languages, and the range of childcare options is also very comprehensive. In addition, some public schools offer binational qualifications. Here, some lessons are taught in another language. Further information on the school system in Germany can be found here.
Multilingual Childcare
The FRM region is characterised by cultural diversity, which is also reflected in childcare. Many nurseries, kindergartens and other childcare facilities offer multilingual concepts that encourage children to learn different languages.
